Inner Tube Tree

Public art can sometimes be really, really strange.  When Avery and I were walking the streets of NYC we saw this inner tube tree called “TORNADO” by a German artist named Michael Sailstorfer.  It was a huge sculpture which towers over 30 feet tall, as you can see!  It was made of inflated truck tire inner tubes, steel, and concrete.   Do you think it adds beauty or zest to the landscape???
