Last month we were in Rhode Island and decided to drive to Cape Cod for a few days. Race Point Beach was a destination we wanted to visit. It is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore found at the most northern end of a 40 mile stretch of sand. It has a vast sand beach and is famous for the beautiful sand dunes. I can’t tell you how much I love being at the beach!!! There is something wonderful about sticking your toes in the sand and moving them around and around until they are buried. Then you do it again and again… I don’t understand how someone can walk a beach in shoes.
The arty village of Provincetown (P’town), the nearest community, is one of the most openly gay resorts in America. We spent the afternoon walking around the crowded streets looking at the art and the people!
