We had a visitor to our neighborhood this weekend. It was a beautiful female peacock that flew here from a local restaurant establishment. Boy were we shocked to see her while walking our dogs. They just stood their ground and watched in silence. (as did she) I was surprised that Yogi didn’t go after it! Did you know that the feather train on male peacocks is among the most striking and beautiful physical attributes in nature? But it fails to excite, much less interest, females. (good for them) Ha…
